Your Health is 100% Your Responsibility

Your health is 100% up to you.

It is not your family’s responsibility.

It is not your doctor’s responsibility.

It is not your employer’s responsibility.

It is not your insurance company’s responsibility.

It is not your government’s responsibility.

The health you enjoy or the sickness you suffer with is 100%, completely and totally, your responsibility.

This idea is often a difficult concept for most people because most of us in this culture were never raised to think about our long-term health. Today the majority of us are not taught healthy lifestyle habits that will allow them to live a long and healthy life. Sadly, this is the first generation is the first to have a lower life expectancy than the previous generation.

The western medical model has conditioned our culture to believe that our bodies are merely machines. Machines break down over time and modern medicine has us believing that we can easily be fixed when something goes wrong. If something starts hurting, you can be drugged so you don’t feel it anymore. If something stops functioning correctly, it can be cut it out of you so it doesn’t bother you anymore. If something wears out, it can be replaced and you can get a new one.

And if all this doesn’t work, then you are told you’ll just have to live with it and there is nothing else that can be done for you. If you are old, live with it. If you are big boned, deal with it. If you are constantly sick and tired of feeling sick and tired, get used to it.

When it comes right down to it, the story you are fed is this:

“You can live any way you want, you can eat whatever you want, you can sit around for as long as you want, you can work and struggle and stress out for as long as you want and don’t worry about it. Because when your body gives out (and it’s not if your body gives out, it is just a matter of when) then we’ll have a pill, potion or lotion that will fix you. If those don’t work, then we’ll operate on you and just give you a new one. Oh yeah, and we’ll have your insurance company pay for all of it.”

This story is a complete lie.

The medical model of health care has completely taken your power away from you. But it only takes your power away from you if you buy into it. More and more people are not buying into it, however. People are waking up to the idea that there is much more to the story than their medical doctor is telling them. People are seeking new stories about health, about healing, about their bodies and about what is possible for them. You are one of these people.

The Being Well Lifestyles Home Study Course is about giving you a new health paradigm to explore, giving you the processes to take your power back and giving you the tools to comprehensively create your health any way you want it. It all starts with you. Remember, whose responsibility is it? That’s right. It is YOUR responsibility.

You are starting this now by thinking in a new way about your health (and the health of your family). You are starting now by feeling that even more health and even more happiness is available to you (and to your family).

Now you will start by crafting a new healthy lifestyle – a healthy lifestyle “makeover” if you will. You will create a lifestyle that will allow you to experience all of the energy, all of the enjoyment, all of the relaxation, all of the peace, all of the balance that you have wanted for so long now and maybe even thought was never possible for you.

I want you to know that all of this is possible for you.

Remember that you are naturally designed to be healthy. You are a miracle and you have miraculous health and healing powers within you.

Remember that by taking just one little step towards Health and one little step away from Sickness with one new action, one new thought or one new feeling, that power within you will be unleashed.

All you have to do, is take 100% responsibility for your health and for the choices you make.
