What is the Best Exercise To Do?

Now that the three general types of exercise have been discussed, I want to share a secret with you. That secret is the very best, incredibly easy, yet most effective exercise program you could ever do.

This exercise secret will do anything you want it to do for you. It will melt away those stubborn, unwanted pounds and it will make you look and feel sexy when you are naked. It will make you strong as an ox (or any other animal you want to be as strong as) and it will increase your energy levels astronomically. Yes, it will do for you everything I just described to you and more…

Are you ready?

The very best, incredibly easy, yet most effective exercise program you could ever do is…the one you actually DO! The exercise program that you will do consistently and regularly is the one that will give you all of those benefits.

The truth is ALL exercise programs produce results – each and every one of them. The only factor that determines whether an exercise program is successful or not is YOU and whether you stick to it or not.

If a program consists of doing daily 30 minute walks and eliminating all refined sugar – if you do it, you will get healthier and you will loose weight.

If a program consists of lifting only 10 pound weights for 4 hours a week and jumping on a trampoline for 10 minutes a day – if you do it, you will get stronger and you will get fitter.

If a program consists of gut-wrenching interval workouts with 10 sets of 60 second, all-out sprints, each followed by only 60 seconds of recovery – if you do it, you will get more physically fit and you will shed pounds.

Do you understand the point here? It does not really matter what you do for exercise. It only matters that you actually do something. And the only exercise you will do consistently and regularly is something that you like to do.

Imagine if some brand new, innovative exercise program comes out on the market and there is a ton of research behind it detailing all of the bio-chemical and bio-mechanical principles it incorporates, that helps to transform weak, flabby bodies into trim, chiseled powerhouses (almost every late night infomercial sounds like this). But then imagine for the sake of this example that this workout routine solely hinges on doing jumping jacks. Not just any jumping jacks of course – but jumping jacks that are done in a very, specialized, scientifically improved way. But then suppose that you hate doing jumping jacks. Even though the infomercial says they melt fat like a welder with a blowtorch and sculpt muscles like an artist with a chisel, it would not really matter how great that cutting edge, ultra successful exercise routine is for you, would it?

The good news is however, that all exercise programs work and all of them can produce the results want for yourself…ALL of them. You just need to find the sort of exercise that you enjoy doing, that you love doing and that you have fun doing. These are the criteria you should use in choosing your exercise program. And only you can answer that for yourself.

Ask yourself:

What is fun for you?

What do you like doing for exercise?

What excites you?

Do you like walking? Running? Biking? Swimming? Lifting weights? Plyometrics? Kayaking? Rollerblading? Yoga?
How about Aerobics classes? Dancing? Tai Chi? CrossFit? Triathlons? Outrigger canoeing?

If it is something that makes you smile that you are excited to do again, then that is the one for you!

Also ask yourself:

How do you like to exercise? Do you prefer exercising by yourself or doing it with a group of people?

When do you like to exercise? Do you like early morning workouts or doing them after work?

Where do you like to exercise? Do you like exercising at a gym or at home? Do you prefer working out indoors or outside?

Now this super secret exercise might not have been the answer you were expecting. In fact, this answer actually just created more questions. But the answers you seek lie in the questions you ask yourself. These questions will allow you to find your own answers and then you will have your own solution that will produce the profound, long lasting, long-term results you are looking for in your exercise program.
